Following the series of top management and board-level changes at Saxo Bank led by the exit of Lone Fonss Schroder from her post as chairman of the board (a role she held for almost 5 years), the bank has appointed Vice-Chairman Henrik Normann to the position, effective immediately.
Normann, who has been on the company’s board since December 2015, is also the President and CEO of Nordic Investment Bank. His previous positions include MD of Danske Markets, the investment banking arm of the Danske Bank Group, where was also a member of the executive committee.
Schroder, who reportedly resigned in order to focus on her other “assignments”, is also a co-founder and partner at the Swedish firm Norfalck and holds various board-level positions in several global companies across Europe and Canada. She began her career in the Maersk Group in 1982. Commenting on her exit from Saxo, she said:
I now consider my mission in Saxo Bank to be completed and I feel a need to focus on other assignments. I hand over a bank with a healthy capitalization, a new strategy under implementation and new, strong owners who will hopefully soon be taking over. I am extremely happy about the mutual cooperation we have had.

Veteran DiSimone Joins Fiserv Board
Another major executive move came from Fiserv. The leading global financial technology solution provider has rolled in Harry F. DiSimone, 63, as a new member the board. DiSimone has extensive knowledge and experience of the fintech industry. He started his career in 1976 with JP Morgan Chase, where he remained for nearly 32 years until 2008 when, after climbing various promotional ladders, he become executive vice president. He left the bank in 2009 to start his own new financial consulting venture, Commerce Advisors Inc.
In addition to his executive role in Commerce Advisors, DiSimone is MD of Encore Financial Partners. According to his LinkedIn profile, he has also served on the boards of several other companies during his tenure, including iovation Inc., Reliant Funding Inc., and ClearBalance Inc.
Commenting on the addition of DiSimone, Glenn M. Renwick, chairman of the Fiserv board, said:
