Muinmos Partners with Northrow to Further Improve the Compliance Process

May 18, 2018

NorthRowRegTech software specialist muinmos has partnered with NorthRow to provide a fully automated process to help companies navigate the compliance issues that come with client onboarding.

muinmos PASS, which went live in early 2017 has gained significant attention in the last few months as it has the ability to significantly reduce the time and costs associated with compliance. The software instantly classifies a client in accordance with MiFID II in the EU or its equivalents elsewhere in the world. It allows a financial services firm to determine whether a particular client can trade using particular services or products and in which countries, while completing Suitability and/or Appropriateness assessments.

The integration with NorthRow will allow financial institutions to undertake all Know Your Client (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) checks via a single API. Northrow is an automated compliance firm that helps businesses to protect themselves from financial crime by assisting them to comply with relevant legislation and other related risks.

Muinmos CEO, Remonda Z. Kirketerp-Møller is excited about the partnership with NorthRow and what it will mean for financial institutions.

“This is our first major partnership deal and enhances our product offering by providing a complete solution to all financial institutions. NorthRow’s platform performs automated checks on ID Documents, people and companies,” said Remonda Z. Kirketerp-Møller.

Remonda Z. Kirketerp-Møller believes that Northrow is a good fit with the muinmos PASS software and will significantly improve the costs and time associated with compliance.

“We assessed a number of KYC and Identity Verification providers in order to find the perfect match for muinmos. We were impressed by the team at NorthRow, their product, energy and drive. In addition, they draw upon an unparalleled breadth of data from trusted commercial data suppliers and law enforcement agencies to deliver results via a single API. muinmos and NorthRow are now working together as a team so that clients have a single point of contact and a one-stop customer onboarding solution for efficient and cost-effective onboarding requirements,” she said.

NorthRow CEO Adrian Black believes that the partnership is a perfect fit between the two automated compliance providers.

“NorthRow is delighted to be partnering with muinmos as Remonda and her team are acknowledged, RegTech experts. Integrating the muinmos PASS application into our NorthRow platform allows us to offer jurisdictional cross-border clearance and Client Suitability & Appropriateness checks in our API, a natural fit alongside our existing IDV & KYC checks,” said Mr Black.
