Marios Chailis Appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at Libertex Group

Cyprus based multinational multi-asset class trading service provider Libertex Group recently revealed in an announcement that it has hired a new executive to serve as its Chief Marketing Officer. As per the statement released by the firm, it has hired Mr. Marios Chailis an expert in online FX & CFDs trading sector and a veteran with nearly 19 years of experience in marketing sector to serve as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Libertex Group formerly known as Forex Club is a broker which specializes in providing online trading in multiple asset classes namely – FX, CFD’s, Indices, stocks, commodities and cryptocurrencies via its in house developed trading platform and has been active in the industry for more than two decades now. The firm has various broker-dealers and subsidiaries and IT development centers located across the globe allow it to cater to clients from nearly 120 countries.

Marios took up his new role at the firm earlier this month and in his new role as Chief Marketing Officer, he is responsible for handling the firm’s global marketing functions and deciding digital marketing agenda. As CMO alongside the roles mentioned above, Mr. Chailis is in charge of executing the firm’s brand strategy, corporate communications and product marketing efforts. Prior to taking up his current role at the firm, the incoming executive served as Vice President of Marketing at another Cyprus based retail FX and CFDs broker 24 options for one year and ten months. During his tenure at the firm, he handled senior B2C marketing activities and was also in charge of brand positioning, improving digital acquisition work and CRM strategy. Prior to his two year term at CySEC regulated FX broker he spent more than a decade at UAE based capital markets trading service provider Henyep Capital Markets where he served as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Director.

While serving as CMO at HYCM, he handled the firm’s commercial marketing and brand strategy across the group’s various brands primarily focusing on Middle East and Chinese markets via the firm’s FCA regulated subsidiary. Prior to his tenure at HYCM, he served in advisory and managerial roles for marketing division at various firms namely – Empire Online – Tradal Ltd, Traffic Sales, Playtech and Easy Forex. Commenting on his new role at Libertex Group to online news media Finance Magnates, Marios stated, “I am very excited to join Libertex, a multinational award-winning group with more than 20 years of operational expertise.
