KX Expands FX Solutions Sales Team With Four Key Hires

KX has announced four recent hires to its FX solutions sales team as the firm plans to accelerate its global expansion. Sharon Yuen, Chetan (CJ) Mhatre, Karl Dundon, and Finn Jakobsen will report directly to the new Chief Revenue Officer, Alan Coad.

Sharon Yuen and Chetan (CJ) Mhatre have joined the Singapore operation which focuses on expanding the footprint of the KX Financial Services business in the Asia Pacific region.

Yuen, a former sales executive at blockchain specialist R3 and research and analysis firm IHS Markit, will focus on developing the Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia markets.

Mhatre, a former sales executive at SWIFT, Integral and Thomson Reuters, will aim to expand business in South Asia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

Both Yuen and Mhatre will also cover other KX products besides its FX solution, including its multi-asset Surveillance and Algo trading technology offering.

On the other side of the globe is Finn Jakobsen, who joined the firm as lead FX Sales in EMEA, based in Copenhagen. Jakobsen was most recently running his own consulting business. The ex-Saxo Bank executive has played a number of roles at FX fintech firms before joining KX.

In New York, KX chose Karl Dundon to drive FX Sales across North America. He joined the firm from Exegy. He has previously worked at Bloomberg and Citi/Lava FX.
