New York-headquartered capital markets technology service provider Capitolis made an announcement recently revealing the promotion of one of its executives on its LinkedIn page. As per the post in their page, Justin Klug who has been serving at the firm for nearly two and half years has been promoted to the role of President effective immediately. He joined the firm back in April 2017 and has been serving in the role of Chief Operating Officer until he was promoted to his new role. He has served in numerous in banking firms in high-level managerial roles over the course of his 19-year long career post graduating with a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Cockrell School of Engineering at the University of Texas, Austin. Post graduating he served as an Engineer for imaging focused firm Eastman Kodak in their New York Office.
His career in the financial services sector started in August of 2005 when he joined multinational investment banking and financial service provider Deutsche Bank in their New York branch. He served at the firm until May 2010 but moved from New York office to London office in March 2008. After nearly 4 years and 10 months long tenure with Deutsche Bank, he moved back to New York and served as Director for Bank of America’s investment banking division Merrill Lynch for short period of thirteen months. He then spent the rest of his career as Managing Director at Credit Suisse’s New York Office for six years before joining Capitolis as its COO. Credit Suisse is popularly known as wealth builder and investment banking service provider which is based out of Switzerland with branches all across the world.
Speaking about Justin’s promotion, Gil Mandelzis, CEO of Capitolis commented, “His contribution to Capitolis has been outstanding.
