UK based cryptocurrency and digital assets securities lending service provider Lendingblock recently revealed in an announcement stating that it has hired a new Senior Advisor. As per the announcement it has hired industry veteran John Macpherson who is serving as Chief Executive Officer of BMLL Technologies Ltd to serve as one of its advisors. John Macpherson in an industry veteran with two decades of experience serving in key leadership and top level management roles at industry leading firms. The London based lending service provider is popularly known in the market for its open exchange which facilitates borrowing and lending of digital assets with a full set of assistive tools which helps ensure risk and collateral management, KYC and regulatory compliance . According to statement released by the firm, he will he taking on role of Strategic Advisor while his LinkedIn account states his official title as Senior Advisor at the firm.

As per the statement, in his new role as strategic Advisor, Mr. Macpherson is responsible for advising on key strategic decisions to help the firm in its efforts to strengthen global institutional relationships and partnerships across both the crypto and the conventional capital markets landscape. John’s appointment at the firm comes at a crucial time for the firm given its sharp increase in number of partnerships and key clients who have signed up for access to the firm’s platform. While it is based out of London and works closely with both UK’s Financial Conduct Authority and Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, it recently acquired an official license from GFSC to offer lending market services for top cryptocurrencies in terms of market capitalization. Some of the most notable firms under which he has served during his two decade long career include – J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Nomura and Citi Group.

Aside from his current role as advisor for Lendingblock, he also serves as a Senior Consultant for Eventopedia UK Ltd and as a Chief Executive Officer of UK based Fintech service provider BMLL Technologies Ltd. He has been serving in both these roles since late 2016 and is also a member of the advisory panel at The Investment Association – a UK based firm aimed at accelerating Fintech growth in investment management community.
