John Bentley Appointed As Head of Sales at Treasury Spring

Treasury Spring - John BentleyTreasury Spring, the UK based fintech firm known for its risk management solutions recently added a new executive to its senior level leadership team. As per statement released by the firm, it has hired Mr. John Bentley to serve as its head of sales effective immediately. The incoming executive is a veteran with more than 14 years of experience in financial services industry specifically in banks and asset management firm. Prior to taking up his current role with the London headquartered fintech firm he served for nearly four years in UK based multinational bank HSBC serving as the Sales Director for its European business division as per information in his LinkedIn account. In his new role as head of Sales, John will be leading a team of five executives who handle the sales activities of the firm. Aside from his responsibility to lead the direct sales team, John is also expected to focus on driving addition growth through third party distribution partnerships.

His focus when it comes to third party partnerships is expected to be particularly focused on corporate sector building upon his long standing relationships with major financial institutions in the UK and across European market region. Prior to his four-year tenure at HSBC, John spent eight years in senior sales roles at Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management and previously held positions with BlackRock, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Morgan Stanley Investment Management. John is the most senior appointment in a series of hires that the firm has made in its sales, operations and technology teams since closing its most recent capital raise in September 2019. The firm has experienced rapid growth following the public launch of its Fixed-Term Fund platform last summer and has now issued more than $1B of FTFs across five different products to 25+ clients from a broad range of sectors.
