, an Australia based industry leading fintech firm has announced the appointment of new senior level executive to its team. As per statement released by the firm, it has onboarded Mr. Eric Kuah to serve in the newly created role of head of its client solutions unit for Asian region. The firm which has a global market caters software solutions to some of industry’s biggest names but many of its clients are primarily based in Asia including Maybank Kim Eng and Hong Leong. As part of its plans to further drive its client growth in Asian market, the firm has hired Mr. Eric Kuah to serve as part of its team based out of Singapore and Eric will be in charge of the firm’s client solution functions. In simpler terms, Eric will leverage the firm’s global expertise to support its clients with their sophisticated needs by combining Iress’ software and services in an end to end solution which works across broking, wealth management, market data and data analytics services.
The newly appointed head of client solutions is a veteran with nearly 15 years of experience in financial services industry and is highly knowledgeable in banking, data analytics and wealth management verticals. Before taking up his current role at Iress, he spent more than a decade serving in multiple roles under Maybank Kim Eng having most recently held the role of EVP/Regional Head of Digital Business Strategy. Eric joined the firm back in December of 2009 as the AVP/Head of its Online Trading Platforms and Services Unit and held the role for two and a half years before receiving his first promotion to role of VP/Regional Head of Online Trading Services. He received his second promotion in April of 2015 to the role of SVP/Regional Head of Strategic Business Development & Online Services and took on his most recent role of EVP in March of 2019. Eric began his career as a consultant in Accenture in May of 2005 having just graduated from Singapore National University with a Bachelors degree in Engineering.
