Ricardo Esteves has seen business and economics through many lenses. He joined the Financial Services Industry in 2009, and has been a financial journalist since 2011. He holds a degree in Business Administration and has experience producing real-time news, from both buy-side and sell-side, as well as for retail traders, brokers and service providers. Communications and network solutions provider IPC announced the appointment of Robert A. Santella as its new Chief Executive Officer. Effective April 16, 2018, Santella will succeed Neil Barua as the leader of the company’s executive team.
His strong track record of leading businesses through technological transformations, including software and SaaS transitions, include managing roles in global financial, investment, and trading software businesses.

He has recently served as President of the Global Trading Group for Fidelity National Information Systems (FIS). He joined the company through the acquisition of SunGard Financial Systems in 2015, where he was President of its Brokerage Group, leading all trading software and services businesses. Similarly, he joined SunGard in 2010, after its acquisition of Fox River Execution, where he served as its Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to leading the operations of Fox River Execution, Santella held senior management roles at SAM Investments and RAS Investments, two alternative asset firms.

‘Bob’ Santella holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics, Accounting and Finance from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he holds a CPA designation and the FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 99 securities registrations. At PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he started his career, he spent eight years in the Personal Financial Planning unit, in a senior leadership role.
