GemForex Signs David Beckham to Promote FX Broker

Retail FX broker GemForex has partnered with sports legend David Beckham in an effort to expand its trading business across the Asian continent.

GemForex Wants More Than 400K Clients

GemForex is home to more than 400,000 clients who have access to trading of currencies, CFDs, and metals. The broker is determined to grow globally, but David Beckham will be promoting the forex brand in Asia.

Headquartered in Mauritius and holding a license to deal derivatives, GemForex is making a big marketing push by tying the not with the former footballer and legend for fans across the globe for his stunts when playing for Manchester United, Real Madrid, and the England national team.

“Both GemForex and David Beckham are considered at the top of their game and have joined forces to show traders that they, too, can reach new heights. David is highly professional, and his ambition to be the best in everything he does matches our vision for GemForex too. We are excited to get started, and we plan to actively promote the partnership with a number of key initiatives in the future”, a spokesman for GemForex commented on the multi year sponsorship deal.

David Beckham, one of the world’s most recognized personalities, said: “I’m pleased to announce my partnership with GemForex as their brand ambassador. It’s very exciting to be working with a business like GemForex – a company made in Japan, a country and culture that I have a lot of admiration for and a place that I have visited many times. GemForex offers reliable support to its customers, entertaining campaigns, and has the potential to become the number one broker globally, and I’m looking forward to being a part of it.”

Besides a former footballer, Beckham is a successful businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He has played a crucial role as Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF for nearly two decades, promoting and protecting the rights of the world’s most vulnerable children. He launched the 7 Fund aimed at protecting millions of children around the world from danger.

FX Brokers Sign Clubs All The Time, But IC Markets Takes The Cake

Sports sponsorship deals have become common ground in the world of Forex trading. Some FX broker signs a new partnership contract every other week. But not many do what IC Markets recently did.

ASIC-regulated IC Markets signed with 12 football teams that make up Spain’s La Liga and Germany’s Bundesliga professional leagues for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.

The Spanish clubs included in the sponsorship deal – brokered by sports agency Sportfive – are Real Sociedad, Athletic Club Bilbao, Getafe CF, Granada CF, RCD Mallorca and Cádiz CF.

Meanwhile, German top-flight soccer’s Bundesliga clubs that have announced IC Markets as their official partners are – Bayer Leverkusen, Hertha Berlin, Augsburg, Arminia Bielefeld, Greuther Fürth and Bochum.

That’s quite an investment.
