Gary Brand Joins Mineral Tree as General Manager

Mineral Tree - Gary BrandMineral Tree Inc, a Texas based leading accounts payable and payment automation service provider has announced to the appointment of new senior level executive to its team. As per statement released by the firm, it has onboarded Mr. Gary Brand to serve as its new General Manager for Financial Institutions divison. In his new role as General Manager of the unit, Mr. Brand will work alongside the firm’s partners in financial services sector to further expand the client base of its white labeled AP automation solutions while in-turn allows its partners to deepen its commercial client relationships. The incoming executive is a veteran with more than three decades of successful sales, strategy making and channel management experience in technology and financial services sector. Before taking on his current role with the payment automation service provider, he spent nearly 14 years serving as a Director in leading fintech firm Fiserv.

As the Director in charge of Payments and Communication Strategies unit, he was responsible for creation of its billing strategies and leading its billing, payment and communications process across multiple verticals in financial services sector such as lending, utilities, telecommunications and government. Prior to taking on the role of director, he led his own units – Immediate Funds and Source Capture Solutions both of which he was in-charge from their inception to successful growth as multi-million dollar businesses. Some of his other most notable senior level leadership and management roles include – Senior Director of Channels at Front Range Solutions, Director of North American region at McAfee, Vice President of Sales and Channel Development at IBM Home Director Inc.

At the time when economic outlook is dull and interest rates are low, banks and financial institutions are facing an increasing need to boost their fee based income. Vijay Ramnathan – President at Mineral Tree believes that Gary’s addition to the team will help in its efforts to achieve its goals and mission to improve business process efficiency and increase retention by leveraging on his experience and knowledge from multi-decade long career.
