FunderPro Launches Regulated Broker And Custom Challenges To Evolve Beyond Prop Trading

FunderPro has announced a major expansion of its trading infrastructure, which introduces a regulated brokerage arm, a hybrid execution model, a new trading platform, and fully customizable evaluation challenges.

The company said the rollout is part of a broader effort to respond to trader feedback and adapt to new regulatory and operational requirements, all while preserving its daily rewards framework.

From Prop Firm to Regulated Brokerage

The addition of a regulated forex broker marks a strategic shift for the firm, which until now has operated solely as a proprietary trading provider in the forex and futures space. By building a licensed brokerage alongside its existing offerings, FunderPro aims to strengthen credibility, extend its jurisdictional reach, and gain full control over trade execution. This move will also allow traders to transition smoothly between funded accounts and traditional brokerage activity within a single ecosystem.

FunderPro is also introducing a hybrid funding model, combining elements of prop trading and brokerage execution. The company said this approach enables it to maintain stable daily payouts while upgrading backend systems for scalability and execution quality. According to the firm, these infrastructure improvements will not affect the trader’s experience in terms of workflow or withdrawals.

A new multi-asset trading platform is also being integrated into the firm’s FX prop program. Although the platform’s name has not been revealed, FunderPro described it as a major technological step forward, offering faster execution and support for high-frequency strategies. The company emphasized that existing challenges will remain on their current platforms, with the new system available only for newly created accounts.

Customization emerged as a top demand in user feedback, leading to the launch of “FunderPro Custom.” This new challenge type allows traders to select their base entry fee, choose from a range of optional features, and apply specific rule sets suited to their trading style. The goal is to let users define the evaluation conditions upfront, creating a more tailored and transparent route to funding.

The roadmap for 2025 and 2026 includes the official launch of the regulated brokerage with multi-asset support, full deployment of the hybrid execution model across all programs, continued platform diversification, and new challenge types developed through ongoing dialogue with users. The company said this series of changes is intended to provide a more resilient infrastructure while giving traders the tools they need to learn, grow, and generate consistent profits.

FunderPro’s leadership described the expansion as a continuation of its original mission rather than a pivot. By reinforcing its position with regulatory compliance, execution flexibility, and user-driven customization, the firm is seeking to remain competitive in a market that has seen increased scrutiny and shifting trader expectations.

The company reaffirmed that daily rewards, which have been central to its brand, will remain a core feature across all offerings. Through these updates, FunderPro said it is building a longer-term foundation for traders who want stability, autonomy, and a broader range of trading opportunities under a single brand.
