Amaiz, the UK based banking and book-keeping service provider has revealed the appointment of new senior level executive to its team in its latest announcement. As per statement released by the firm, it has onboarded Mrs. Francesca Dowling to serve as its new Head of Compliance effective immediately. As the newly appointed head of compliance at the start-up firm, Mrs. Dowling is responsible for ensuring all operations at the firm meet and fully comply with today’s robust regulatory standards. As one of the first tasks after taking her new role at the firm, Francesca represented Amaiz at a major international conference on fraud prevention “We Fight Fraud Live” as a speaker and participated alongside Police Commander Karen Baxter & National Coordination for Economic Crime and TransUnion – the global information and Insights Company.
The bank is a start-up which was established in March 2020 and provides banking and book-keeping service together at the same time by combining the two into single easy to use application. The firm primarily targets small business owners and self-employed and provides its application across multiple platforms – web, iOS & Android. The firm’s clients gain access to UK based current accounts, 24/7 customer care service, accountancy integration (with expert support) and smart tools that help them take control of their finances without the hassle. The newly appointed executive is a veteran with more than two decades of experience and is a seasoned executive specializing in regulatory and risk verticals. Across her career, she has worked across multiple aspects that associate with regulatory environment such as gambling, legal, risk and compliance verticals in leading banks and financial service providers. In particular, aside from compliance operations, she is renowned for her expertise in GDPR, fraud prevention, money laundering and cross section collaboration.
