Fidelity National Information Services Appoints Ex-KKR and Ex-BNY Mellon Veterans to its Board of Director

International provider of financial services technology and outsourcing services, Fidelity National Information Services (NYSE: FIS) or better known as FIS has announced changes in its board this Thursday. The company announced that Alexander Navab and Brian Shea have joined the company’s Board of Directors.

Navab is an experienced veteran of the financial services industry with more than 30 years of experience and started his career with KKR in 1993. He had been co-head of the Americas Private Equity business of KKR from 2008 until 2014 and then as head of that business from 2014 until his departure in September 2017. Mr Navab possesses extensive experience in the global enterprise operations, long-term investing, M&A and corporate finance. While at KKR, he was the member of the firm’s Management Committee, Chair of the Americas Private Equity Investment Committee and Chair of the Americas Portfolio Management Committee.companies in different industries.

Currently, he serves as a member of Council on Foreign Relations, the Board of Trustees at New York Presbyterian Hospital, the Columbia University Board of Trustees, and other not-for-profit boards.

Mr Shea began his career with Pershing LLC in 1983 which was later acquired by the Bank of New York (BNY Mellon)  in 2003. He has served as Vice Chairman and CEO of Investment Services for BNY Mellon from 2014 to December 2017. Prior to this, he was Chairman and CEO of Pershing LLC. He has expertise in global enterprise operations, financial technology, regulations, corporate development and corporate governance.

He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Wisdom Tree Investments, Inc., RBB Fund, Inc., the Board of Trustees of St. John’s University, Catholic Charities – Archdiocese of New York and other not-for-profit boards.
