David White to Join Cloud Margin as New CCO

CloudMargin, the UK based Collateral Management service provider has announced the addition of new member to its executive team. As per statement released by the firm, it has hired Mr. David White to serve as its new Chief Commercial Officer. The incoming Chief Commercial Officer is a veteran with 14 years of experience in capital markets and is an expert in over the counter derivatives market. He also has knowledge and experience in dealing with supporting technologies for capital market and OTC derivatives. In his new role as Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. White is responsible for establishing and meeting targeted revenue objectives and also overseeing the sales and marketing team activities. Before joining the collateral management service provider, he served as Head of Sales at US derivatives services provider CME Group handling their TriResolve operations. He originally served as member of Nex Group Plc and became a part of CME Group post the former’s acquisition by latter in November of 2018.

Together, he spent nearly eight years serving NEX Group and CME group prior to which he did a short stint as product marketing executive at TriOptima. Prior to that, he served as Investment Banking Advisory Consultant at Accenture and Manager for Sapient Global Markets prior to his term at Accenture. He began his career back in September of 2006 as a Derivatives Consultant at Derivatives Consulting Group. As Chief Commercial Officer, he will be reporting Mr. Stuart Connolly who is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Cloud Margin. It should be noted that David worked alongside Mr. Connolly earlier in his career when both of them served in CME Group. Mr. Connolly had been handling TriOptima’s operations a part of which includes TriResolve. Similar to Nex Group, TriOptima is another business that was absorbed by CME Group as part its plans to expand market based and increase product portfolio.
