Regtech leader Corlytics announced the appointment of Tim Sweeney as SVP, corporate development in North America to help the global team deliver on the company’s ambitious growth agenda and bring regulation risk-analysis services to a larger number of companies within the industry.
Sweeney is a veteran in fintech and data mining with over 25 years’ experience, having held a number of senior appointments in the international financial services sector. He joins Corlytics from the risk and regulatory solutions arm of Thomson Reuters, where he held the role of major accounts director for six years. He was a senior member of the solution delivery team that led the successful growth and performance of the risk technology and regulatory solution business. Sweeney is also an M&A expert, having offered strategic consultancy on mergers and acquisitions for fintech firms throughout the years.
