In addition, Taraneh Derayati was appointed new Head of Sales to lead sales of Cinnober’s exchange and real-time clearing technology to market operators and clearinghouses globally. Derayati joined the company in 2009 as business analyst and project manager, and has led several large client acquisition projects. Most recently she was in charge of delivering Cinnober’s real-time clearing system to JPX which went live in February this year.
Cinnober, a Stockholm-based FinTech firm supplier to marketplaces and clearinghouses, has announced the appointment of Hans Sjöberg as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the product organization within Cinnober, including DevOps, product architects as well as research and technology.
The previous CTO, co-founder Peter Lenti, remCinnoberains in the compnany as a senior technology architect and advisor.
Hans Sjöberg is an industry veteran whose experience encompasses various developer roles at investment banks such as Lehman Brothers and Nomura. He joined Cinnober when the company acquired Nomura’s Swedish technology development subsidiary, in 2012. At Cinnober, he was also technical project manager and solutions architect in high profile projects such as the delivery of LME Clear’s real-time clearing system and a new cross-asset risk solution for Japan Exchange Group (JPX).

Ulf Axman, previous Head of Sales at Cinnober, will remain in the company in a senior sales advisory role.
