Huobi’s U.S. Strategic Partner Appoints Chief Compliance Officer

HBUS HBUS, the U.S. strategic partner of cryptocurrency exchange Huobi, has appointed Megan Monroe-Coleman as Chief Compliance Officer, where she will be responsible for U.S. compliance functions and implementing a comprehensive framework for regulatory compliance and risk.

Prior to joining HBUS, Monroe-Coleman served as MTL Compliance Officer at Intuit, following the acquisition of Mint, where she was also a compliance officer. At Intuit, she developed and implemented the AML compliance programs for Mint and led the money transmission licensing strategy for Intuit’s regulated payments products.

The industry veteran has focused on FinTech and the financial services industries during her more + 15 years of experience in the compliance sector. Before Intuit, she spent over seven years at PricewaterhouseCoopers playing a number of roles and leaving the company as a Director. Monroe-Coleman has also held roles at Barclays
Bank and Deloitte after graduating from University of Southern California with degrees in Political Science and French.
