TradeShift, the San Francisco based supply chain payments specialist known for its market places and cloud based digital b2b network revealed the appointment of yet another senior level executive to its team. As per statement released by the firm, it has on-boarded Mrs. Carrie Dolan as its Chief Financial Officer effectively immediately. In her new role as CFO at the firm, Mrs. Dolan is responsible for designing the firm’s financial strategy and overseeing all aspects of financial operations. The incoming executive is a renowned entrepreneur and veteran with more than three decades of experience. During her career, she had served in numerous senior level roles across industry leading brands helping them scale up their operations and gain a boost to their revenues – a feat which exemplifies her successful track record. Before taking up her current role at TradeShift, Carrie served as the CFO at Metromile for three years.
Metromile is a pay-per mile car insurance start-up and during her term with the firm, she played a major role in scaling up its operations and doubling its revenues while also helping it achieve product profitability. Prior to her term with Metromile, Carrie served in the roles of CFO and Strategic Advisor at Lending Club for six and a half years and helped the firm grow into one of world’s largest online marketplace which connects investors and borrowers. Post her success with helping the firm on its growth, she helped the firm’s with its IPO during which the firm raised $1 Billion in capital –a feat which made the firm one of top 10 US based Internet Public Offerings. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly a decade in Charles Schwab serving in numerous roles. She joined the firm as Vice President of Capital Markets in February of 2000 and helped the firm with launch of its banking unit Schwab Bank in 2003 when she was promoted to role of VP – Corporate Finance & Schwab Bank Treasurer.
She later served as SVP & Corporate Treasurer and CFO for Schwab Bank post which she resigned from the firm. She began her career at Chevron and served in the firm for more than 12 years during which she slowly climbed her way up the corporate ladder and also helped with launch of its banking unit – Chevron Credit Bank. Aside from her current role at TradeShift, she also served as member of board of directors at LendUp & University of California, Berkeley – Haas School of Business. It should be noted that the appointment of Mrs. Carrie Dolan is one of the many such additions made to firm in a series of senior level hires made by the firm since start of the year with aim to support and strengthen its growth activists across core aspects of firm – Payments, Finance and Marketplaces.
