Cappitech, a leading regtech and fintech service provider recently revealed in a statement that it has appointed industry veteran Mark Kelly to its board of advisors. Mark is a veteran with more than three decades of experience in financial and regulatory sectors and is currently serving as head of compliance at Coinbase’s UK office.
Cappitech is well known for its state of the art cross-regulatory reporting and intelligence solutions for the financial services industry, in particular, the company’s products are focused on meeting regulatory requirements and utilizing regulatory data. Mark began his tenure at Coinbase in January earlier this year and will continue to serve as head of the firm’s compliance department alongside his role as a member of the advisory board at Cappitech.
Mr. Kelly began his career in the financial services industry in the late 1980s starting as Senior Consultant at Price Waterhouse Coopers, one of the big four global auditing firms. He has held many senior-level management and leadership roles at a variety of firms during his three-decade-long career.
Some of the most notable senior-level management and leadership roles in his career include – five year term as Director at Abide Financial, seven-year term as It Audit Manager at Salomon Brothers International, four year term as Audit Manager at Lehman Brothers, Global Head of IT Audit at Barclays Capital for one year, Consultant at Resources Global Professionals, Technology Risk Consultant at Grant Thornton and Director at Transaction Reporting Limited. In his new role as a member of the advisory board, Mr. Kelly is expected to lend his expertise to help Cappitech enhance its product offering to financial services sector.
