Bitfury, the leading infrastructure provider for Bitcoin mining and blockchain transactions processing company has officially marked its entry to the Korean blockchain market by announcing the appointment of Eun Chul Lee as Head of its Korea operations.
Lee is a seasoned technology expert and interesting he is also an Olympic gold medal winner. For more than 18 years, he has been the Korea country manager for various Silicon Valley firms like WindRiverSystem, IP Infusion, Treasure Data, and Clustrix Inc. He is also the founder of two companies SiliconValleyTech and IntelR.
As a former Olympian, Lee has represented Korea in five consecutive Olympic games and in 1992, he won a gold medal for rifle shooting in Barcelona.
Currently, Lee is a member of Emercoin’s technical advisory council and is responsible for its promotion and identify opportunities for the company’s system and services. As Bitfury’s Head of Korea operations, Lee will build business relationships in the country’s expanding blockchain industry.
