Paris-based fintech firm ICA has rebranded to “Opensee” to reflect the company’s evolution from an innovative capital markets data analytics platform to its position today as a market challenger.
OpenSee provides big data solutions to help financial institutions gain autonomy to dive deeper into their data, analyze and explore the full depth of data on demand. This results in better risk management and improved execution performance.
With the firm already working with a few European Tier-1 banks, Founder Stephane Rio and his team have decided to move forward with a new name and image to mark the significant milestone.
Big data challenges can become competitive advantages when correctly dealt with. Opensee, formerly ICA, was founded as Stephane Rio grew frustrated with the lack of suitable Big Data analytics solutions to perform what-if analysis on the hundreds of billions of data it was handling.
Mr. Rio has previously served as an Executive Board Member of Depfa Bank and was CEO of ACS bank, respectively, where he managed €220 Billions of assets, and the selection and transfer of €150 Billions into a ‘bad bank’.
Prior to that, Stéphane was the CEO of interest rate swaps platform Swapstream, which he sold to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 2016.
