Ben Radclyffe Appointed As Commercial Director at HDR Global Trading Limited

HDR Global Trading Limited - Ben RadclyffeHDR Global Trading Limited, the owner of leading cryptocurrency and derivatives trading platform BitMEX has made an addition to its executive Team. As per latest statement released by the firm, it has onboarded Mr. Ben Radclyffe to serve in the role of Commercial Director. In his new role at the firm, Ben will be responsible for financial products, business and Client development and researching new ways to bring value to its client while also focusing on defining the firm’s sales strategies. The incoming executive is an expert in equities and electronic trading having spent more than 25 years in financial services industry under industry leading banks and financial service providers.

Before taking up his current role at HDR Global, he served as Managing Director at Tower Research Capital – a New York based investment management firm for more than three years. Ben started his career by establish Zone 1 – a technology services firm which provided wide range of services from web design to full application software design and implementation back in 1995. After spending nearly five years in his firm, he joined UBS – a Switzerland based multinational banking and financial service provider where he served for nine years. During his term with the bank, he served in the roles of Client Connectivity GSD Team Lead, Director of Direct Execution Services and Electronic Trading divisions.

Post cutting ties with UBS, he joined German banking giant Deutsche Bank where he served for seven and a half years in the roles of Head of Electronic Trading for Australia and Head of Equities Electronic Trading for Asian-Pacific market regions. His notable achievement in Deutsche bank was helping the bank achieve #1 market share on ASX within two years since he joined the bank which he achieved by rebuilding its client facing algorithmic trading business from scratch. The firm has made headlines multiple times for operating unregistered securities in major global markets. HDR Global also made headlines recently for its $400 Million grant to Shadowserver foundation, a non-profit security organization.
