Beeks Raised to Gold Tier Partnership Level at Equinix

EquinixBeeks is one of a small number of UK partners that are Gold Tier partnership level, a significant milestone in its long-standing collaboration with Equinix.

Beeks Financial Cloud Group has become a Gold Partner of global interconnection and datacentre provider, Equinix, after working together since Beeks’ inception in 2011.

The Glasgow-based low-latency Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider is now present in ten of Equinix’s datacentres around the world, serving the US, Asia, and EMEA markets. In 2011, however, Beeks was only taking space in the Equinix’s NY4 International Business Exchange data center located in the New York City metro.

Simon Ognall, Head of Channel & Partner Alliances at Equinix UK, commented:

“Building a digital business requires the ability to reach strategic global destinations on demand, to access everyone that matters, and to bring people, clouds, data and things together. We have a long-standing relationship with Beeks and are excited to see them continue to innovate with Equinix and achieve Gold Partner status.”

Alan Samuel, Chief Sales Officer at Beeks Financial Cloud, said:

“We are delighted to be named as a Gold Partner of Equinix, with whom we have worked ever since the company began. This is a hugely positive step on our journey with Equinix and will bring further opportunities for Beeks to grow within their network. I am looking forward to an increasingly fruitful relationship with our datacentre and interconnectivity partner.”

Beeks joined the Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric (ECX Fabric), in early 2018, allowing existing and new customers to directly connect to and purchase Beeks’ products and services regardless of location via software-defined networking (SDN) capabilities.

Last year, multi-asset broker FIXI Markets migrated its data to Beeks infrastructure. FIXI were looking to improve clients’ trade execution by moving from Microsoft Azure hosting to dedicated infrastructure across several locations. Beeks was the solution to fulfil their migration from Azure and implement their subsequent MT4 deployment.

Beeks provided a dedicated infrastructure set up across a range of locations in their LD4, FR2 and HK1 datacentres, as well as direct low-latency connectivity to selected liquidity providers offering high-class trading technology support, as well as access to latest market data and deep liquidity. Based in London, FIXI caters to customers on a global scale, placing an emphasis on customised and secure trading experiences tailored to the needs of the individual.
