Avenir Registrars Issues 250th Securities Certificate as Business Grows

Avenir - Securities CertificateAvenir Registrars has completed the issuance of its 250th securities certificate as it continues its steady growth despite the global economic slowdown. The provider of CREST registry services has clients in both privately and publicly held businesses who have issued both debt and equity. Collectively, their instruments are listed at venues including Aquis Exchange (formerly NEX), the International Stock Exchange, the Gibraltar Stock Exchange, Nasdaq OMX and the London Stock Exchange.

The company has built a wholly distributed system, allowing all employees to work remotely when needed, which is currently the case with the Coronavirus pandemic, and allowing the savings generated from this approach to be passed on to end-user clients.

All companies are obliged to maintain an up-to-date register of securities ownership, conducted either in-house or through a third-party registrar which is appointed to manage this responsibility. Usually, firms choose the latter and Avenir’s technology has been built from the ground up to deliver an accurate system with a high degree of automation.

Hardeep Tamana, Managing Director of Avenir Registrars, said: “We are finding that our flexibility is making Avenir an ever more popular choice with issuers and their advisers when looking for a registry solution. Our in-depth knowledge of financial markets infrastructure combined with our high degree of automation means we can readily accommodate requests for both niche and mainstream issuances alike.”

Last month, Avenir signed Audacia Capital as its newest client. Avenir will act as CREST Settlement Agent, Paying Agent and Registrar pursuant.

The firm was founded in 2014 by Stuart Turner, Martyn Bain, and Hardeep Tamana and now provide CREST and non-CREST registrar services to over 100 different issuers. Working as a facilitator to help corporate advisers, lawyers, accountants and company secretaries play their own vital roles in the registry process, this project management approach is said to not only deliver quicker results, but also help significantly to reduce the fees charged by third party professional services providers.

Avenir’s services include equity listings, bond issuance, crowdfunding, register keeping, moving registrars, investor relations, corporate actions and company formation.
