The Temenos Multifonds Global Accounting product has been awarded the status of “differentiated”, according to the 2019 8 x 8 report by Adox Research on Portfolio Management, Accounting solutions. The report recognized Temenos in the following five out of eight categories: Usability, Functionality, ROI, Vision, and Supplier Risk.

The firm’s Multifonds Global Accounting solution is a single, scalable product for fund managers’ key asset servicing, position keeping, valuation, and accounting functions. It allows the consolidation of fragmented legacy systems onto a single, global platform that combines sophisticated workflow and production management techniques to drive enhanced automation and efficiency.

The Adox Research 8 x 8 survey compares up to eight vendor solutions across eight metrics in order to help firms select the relevant shortlist of solution providers. Adox Research uses a data-driven methodology based on best practice blueprints, product questionnaires, and demonstrations to compare capabilities, value propositions, and market messages of leading providers of reconciliation services. The process includes qualification calls, executive briefings, completion of an online survey, product demonstrations, and briefings.

Gert Raeves, Research Director, Adox Research, said: “In a 2019 8×8 report by Adox Research on Portfolio Management & Accounting solutions, Temenos was invited to participate, and Temenos Multifonds Global Accounting achieved the status of "differentiated" (the highest awarded) in the following categories: Usability, Functionality, ROI, Vision, and Supplier Risk.”

Earlier this year, BNP Paribas Securities Services extended its license for Temenos Multifonds Global Accounting and Temenos Multifonds Global Investor, which deliver localized accounting and reporting to underpin the management of the bank’s fund administration operations. BNP Paribas Securities Services had initially deployed the Temenos Fund Administration platform in Luxembourg to replace its legacy architecture. By using a scalable platform and enabling more automated exception-based processing, BNP Paribas Securities Services will benefit from greater operational efficiency, reduced costs, and new growth opportunities.

BNP Paribas Securities Services has integrated the Temenos Multifonds Global Accounting into its domestic fund administration business in France after a nearly two-year process that covered 1,300 fund accounts, representing over 20% of the total French market.
