ActivTrades Appoints Former IG Executive, Michael Lippa as its Newest Chief Commercial Officer

UK-based online FX, CFD brokerage firm, ActivTrades has made an important hire for the company and has appointed former Managing Director of IG Group subsidiary, Brokerhouse IG, Michael Lippa in the position of Chief Commercial Officer.

Michael Lippa will be responsible for the growth of the company’s European operations and will report directly to founder and CEO, Alex Pusco. Given Michael’s strong hand in managing and expanding a business operation in a new region, this new appointment will have a substantial benefit for the company.

During his stint at Brokerhouse IG as Managing Director, Lippa played a crucial role in the development of the company’s business in Germany, The Netherlands, and the Nordic region.

Commenting on his new appointment, Lippa said:

XTX Markets Makes Two Important Hires at Senior Level

xtxForex trading and money maker company, XTX Markets has made two crucial appointments in the senior level management position.

First is Geoffrey Damien, who has been appointed as Managing Director and Head of France at the firm and second is Serge Harry, who has joined the company as Chairman of XTX Markets SAS.

Damien is ex-Euronext executive where he was Head of Product Development and Projects, as well as Head of Retail Execution and has spent almost a decade with the exchange starting from 2009.

Serge Harry is also an ex-Euronext executive where he was working as exchange’s Chief Financial Officer as the New York Stock Exchange’s Head of Strategy. Prior to this, Harry has worked at London Stock Exchange as an advisor, Chairman of securities trading firm MTS France and as a non-executive director for LCH.Clearnet.
