ACI Worldwide Launches “Delay My Payment” Feature

ACI Worldwide - PaymentACI Worldwide, a NASDAQ listed provider of real time electronic payment and banking solutions announced the launch of new feature for its flagship product ACI Speedpay Solutions. As the global economic activity and outlook have taken a turn for worse given impact of covid-19 outbreak across the globe, each firm is fighting in its own way to retain its competitive edge while also remaining customer friendly to ensure their clients feel a bit of easing from ongoing economic distress. ACI Speedpay Solutions is an integrated suite which contains PCI-compliant bill presentment and payment services for wide range such as Mobile, Web, IVR, eBill, Call Center and eLockbox payment options with prebuilt flexible payment restructuring feature and fraud protection feature.

This product is currently used by more than 300 businesses from wide range of industries such as Consumer Finance, Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, Insurance, Subscription Services and Utilities. In its latest survey which saw participation of more than 40 leading US consumer finance firms which was conducted on 02.04.2020 more than 60% of the firms have seen a sharp increase in their increase in call volume with some firms seeing nearly 25%-100% spike in incoming calls. As the firm in its own way wishes to help its clients while retaining its market share, it has announced that its flagship payment product will now contain a new feature labeled “delay my payment” to assist its clients with an ability that allows them to address growing consumer bill payment needs and over-burdened call centers during the ongoing pandemic.

As part of its rapid response program, the ACI Speedpay solution currently offers billers with both short and long term options which will enable consumers to digitally engage and manage their bill payments. The firm has now used several of its product solutions such as mobile wallet offerings and moBills to now launch a new feature called “Delay My Payment” which facilitates ACI Speedpay users with an automated process for requesting delay in payments according to pre-defined rules and criteria. By integrating this feature with mobile and digital wallets, billers can directly take to assistance tools to their consumers at much faster pace without having to depend on call center support staffs.
