0xMiden dates a partner mainnet to October 26, not open
0xMiden has set October 26 as a partner mainnet. Polygon's Agglayer countdown is not an open launch, and the May testnet remains the published settlement.

0xMiden has put October 26, 2026 on a partner mainnet. On October 19 the project posted "Partner Mainnet in 7 days. October 26, 2026." On October 21 Polygon wrote that the "final countdown is on" for 0xMiden mainnet and called it "the first non-EVM chain connected to global liquidity through Polygon Agglayer." Non-EVM means the chain does not run the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). As of October 22, October 26 has not arrived. The only end-to-end Agglayer settlement Polygon has published for this chain is still a May testnet. Reading the October 21 line as a completed launch gets the tense wrong.
Dominik Schmid of Miden put the cross-chain claim in a DL News roundtable: "We lean into cross-chain. That's the honest answer to the fragmentation problem: don't build another island." In the same conversation he said Miden launches with a centralised operator, later replaced by decentralised sequencing and Guardians. Cofounder Azeem Khan made the access point on October 19. "I know I've been saying mainnet soon, but it's actually mainnet on October 26th. Yes, it's a partner mainnet," he wrote. He added that "the same people who have spoken to me about access to Bread Wallet will already have mainnet access." Miden's site describes Bread as its self-custodial private wallet. The project account added, "all will be revealed October 26, 2026."
Polygon's mainnet table still omits it
Polygon's own pages do not close the gap. An Agglayer overview says the network "is no longer EVM-only: Miden joined as a non-EVM connected chain." The supported-chains table, opened on October 22, lists seven mainnets: Ethereum, Katana, Pentagon Games, Silicon.network, X Layer, Ternoa and Wirex Pay. It lists two testnets, Bokuto and Lumia. Miden is on neither. mandrigin.eth, of Gateway, wrote on October 20 that this "will be the first non-EVM chain mainnet" on Agglayer, "Using the tech that we built at Gateway."
The documented settlement is the May 14, 2026 testnet post. Polygon said Agglayer testnet had moved value between Ethereum (ETH) and a chain that does not run the EVM, in both directions. The integration sat on Agglayer Bali, "the staging deployment for the production release." Next milestones were mainnet bridging, assets beyond ETH, and a production deployment of Gateway's stack. Miden is described there as a private zero-knowledge (ZK) chain incubated by Polygon Labs: proofs are made on the user's device, and state is note-based rather than account-based. The heading was "Live on testnet. Mainnet next."
The public date has already moved. On August 12, 2026 CoinDesk reported that USDCx, backed 1:1 by Circle's USD Coin (USDC) through xReserve, was expected at the end of that month alongside mainnet. Miden's USDCx page still says "coming soon" and "mainnet this summer," and records an April 2025 spin-out from Polygon. Decrypt reported on April 29, 2025 a $25 million round led by a16z crypto, 1kx and Hack VC, a tentative mainnet later that year, and a future distribution of 10% of a native token to ecosystem stakers and holders of POL, Polygon's gas and staking token. That 2025 window has passed. The October line is still a partner date.
Operators are nevertheless being described in the present tense. Miden says Korea Digital Asset (KODA), backed by KB Kookmin Bank and Hashed, "operates Guardian on Miden partner mainnet, after weeks operating on Miden testnet." It says Para's Guardian "is now running on Miden partner mainnet." The site stamps those posts 20.10.26. Both say the operator cannot move users' funds. That names a network for a custodian and a wallet firm. It is not a row on Agglayer's mainnet table, and it is not an open launch.
For a treasury desk the comparison is a public rail, not a new ticker. BlackRock's filing for tokenized funds on Ethereum is the public-rail pattern a privacy chain still has to meet. Industry Spread covered the Miden virtual machine when Polygon introduced the design in 2021. Privacy infrastructure that cannot leave its own chain is still the island Schmid described, and Blast's wind-down of an Ethereum Layer 2 (L2) as costs exceeded revenue is the reminder that an operator has to be paid for.
What to watch on October 26 is mechanical. A real attachment would add Miden to Polygon's supported-chains mainnet table and document a mainnet bridge the way the May testnet was documented. If access stays gated, the label 0xMiden chose on October 19 holds: partner mainnet, not open liquidity. Until those artefacts exist, a custody team should not book Agglayer liquidity as reachable from 0xMiden.
