Ryan Burke Appointed As CIO of DriveWealth

US based trading technology services provider DriveWealth recently revealed in an announcement stating that it now has a new Chief Information Officer. According to statement released by the firm, it has on boarded industry veteran Ryan Burke to serve as its new Chief Information Officer. Ryan has more than 16 years of experience serving in financial services industry and joins the New Jersey based trading technology service provider from Stash Invest, a New York based banking and investment services provider where he served as Vice President of Brokerage for nearly three and half years. Stash Invest is known for allowing its clients to invest in cash in small amounts in the stock market. Burke joined Stash invest back in February of 2016 and served as the head of its operations aside from his role of VP of brokerage services. Ryan played a great role in development and growth of Ryan’s retail investing business and also focused on expanding the firm’s product offerings and development of broker’s trading technology. Prior to Stash Invest, Ryan served as a Senior Vice President of Macquarie Group for nearly six years and two months having joined the firm in December of 2009 in their New York office.

Ryan started his career as a business analyst for NYSE post graduating from Georgetown University and served at the firm for a period of two and half years post which he moved on to US based investment banking service provider Fox-Pitt Kelton. While at Fox-Pitt Kelton, Ryan served in capacity of Vice President for a period of four years and five months. The firm is currently a major player in commission free stock trading industry which has been growing popular off late. And while it is a huge name in the industry it is relatively unknown to retail clients as the firm focuses on providing white label solutions to several major players in industry such as Revolut and stake who market the service to their retail clients. It should also be noted that in recent past, the firm hired another industry veteran Andrew P Levine to serve as Chief Integration Officer. Andrew has more than three decades of experience serving in brokerage and fintech service provider with an extensive background in building, integrating and scaling business and product lines for established and venture capital-backed companies.
