Vela Appoints Former NYSE VP, Peggy Sullivan as its Chief of Staff

VelaVela, the global leader in providing trading, market access technology software has appointed former NYSE VP, Peggy Sullivan as its Chief of Staff. Sullivan has been serving as Consultant in the company since October 2017. Sullivan will be based out of the company’s New York office and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Jennifer Nayar.

In her new role, Sullivan is responsible for establishing strong strategic partnerships and advise on market structure challenges. She will also represent Vela in various industry forums and trade associations.

Earlier Sullivan has worked at New York Stock Exchange for almost 10 years and during her tenure, she held a number of roles including Managing Director of NYSE Euronext and Director for the exchange’s Trading Floor Market Data Operations and US Product Management. She has also worked at Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Dow Jones Telerate.
