Market Surveillance Firms Eventus and Sterling Join Forces

Eventus Systems, a leading global trade surveillance and market risk platform provider, has integrated Sterling Trading Tech’s Cloud-Based Analytics Engine (SRE) into its Validus platform to benefit mutual customers.

With over 100 clients with thousands of traders including leading brokers, clearing firms and prop groups in over 30 countries, Sterling is a leading provider of professional trading technology solutions for the global equities, equity options and futures markets.

The joint initiative between the trading technology leader in the RaaS (Risk as a Service) space and the provider of software solutions that solve compliance, market surveillance and financial risk challenges across asset classes around the globe will allow firms to seamlessly connect their trading activity into the Eventus surveillance platform as well as jointly monitor their real-time and post-trade risk and other post-trade activity.

Eventus’ cost-effective cloud offering was recently chosen by GAIN Capital. The leading broker, which operates as a non-clearing futures commission merchant (FCM), has gone live with Eventus’ surveillance program, the cloud-based version of the Validus platform to manage the market surveillance program for its futures operation.
