Marex Spectron Appoints Carla Stent as Non-Executive Chair of the Group’s Board

Global commodities broker, Marex Spectron has announced the appointment of Carla Stent as Non-Executive Chair of the Group Board. Carla has been on the board of the company for the last four years and until recently she was the Chair of Marex Spectron’s Audit & Compliance Committee.

She is replacing Simon Heale, who stepped down from the position in December last year. Carla has extensive experience in the functioning of the Board matters and held various executive and non-executive roles across financial services.

Currently, she is serving in the Board of Post Office Limited, JP Morgan Elect plc, Savernake Capital Group and Power to Change. She has also held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Virgin Group and was also Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at Global Retail and Commercial Bank, an arm of Barclays Bank.

Commenting on her new position, Carla Stent said: “I am delighted to have been appointed Chair of Marex Spectron.
