iSAM Securities wins two FinanceFeeds awards for gold and risk

iSAM Securities has won two FinanceFeeds awards, Outstanding Gold Liquidity Provider and Exceptional Risk Management Tool, and I read the pair as one judgement on the gold warehouse rather than two separate product lines.

FinanceFeeds published the result on October 27, 2026. The figures that make the pairing concrete come from Radar's brokerage client base, which iSAM Securities gave Finance Magnates for the 12 months to mid-August 2026. XAUUSD was 79.3% of broker trading volume and 62% of broker profit and loss on that network. The same cut put 94.6% of client volume on the B-book, where the broker takes the other side, against 5.4% passed to a liquidity provider, and it put B-book activity at 98.2% of broker profit and loss against 1.8% from the A-book. A gold-pricing prize and a risk-screen prize are describing the same desk.

What FinanceFeeds actually awarded

FinanceFeeds framed the liquidity prize around executable gold pricing, and the risk prize around Radar, which pulls positions across platforms, servers, liquidity-provider accounts and internal books into one view. Neill Burger, managing director at iSAM Securities, told FinanceFeeds: "Receiving both the Outstanding Gold Liquidity Provider and Exceptional Risk Management Tools awards is particularly meaningful because they recognise two areas that are fundamentally connected." He added: "Our institutional clients require high-quality liquidity, but they also need the technology and visibility to understand and manage the risk generated by their trading activity."

The Industry Spread has already filed the broker-side gold prize from the same cycle, where VT Markets took best gold trading platform, a retail-platform honour, while iSAM Securities is the pricing and risk-technology side of the same metal.

Rivals still sell the pieces apart

Most dealing desks still buy the bridge, the risk view and the gold price from different vendors. Finctra sells RiskGuard and a hub for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 rather than a gold price of its own. Spotware has put cFinancial, its Seychelles-licensed liquidity provider, in a bundle with cTrader and the cBridge, so the platform vendor is also a liquidity provider on its own pipe. iSAM Securities sells the third arrangement, in which the liquidity provider also ships the bridge and the risk console.

Apex routes orders and lets a desk move traders between the A-book and the B-book from one screen. On October 5, 2026 the firm added Exposure Monitor, Hedge Alerts, LP Reconciliation and Book Switch Impact, on its own product note. Hedge Alerts flags one trader running offsetting positions across brokers, and the company says more than 1,500 such accounts show up on the Radar network each month. Book Switch Impact estimates PnL A, the profit and loss the broker could have kept by warehousing the risk instead of hedging it. Dennis Weissert, chief commercial officer of Apex, said the releases "give teams a clearer view of where risk is building, what sits behind it and whether the action they have taken remains the right one."

On October 23, 2026 Apex added Match-Prime, a Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) regulated prime of prime, across more than 2,000 instruments, reported the same day. iSAM Securities also says Spec Markets, described there as a contracts for difference (CFD) and forex broker regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius, has integrated Radar and Apex. Those two notes are the public record beside the prizes: another liquidity provider on the bridge, and a named broker already on both tools.

What a counterparty should read

The homepage compresses the brand to regulation by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), plus registration with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA). The legal footer says the Cayman company, iSAM Securities Limited, is a CIMA-registered person, a CFTC-registered commodity trading advisor and a National Futures Association (NFA) member. A commodity-trading-advisor registration is a different permission from a broker-dealer or a swap-dealer licence. Product pages cite more than 100 currency and precious-metal pairs and average execution of 10 milliseconds. The homepage's "$1 trillion" label is monthly volume oversight, the Radar network, rather than a disclosed share of London gold.

The same dataset said 84% of the notional traced to likely latency arbitrage was in XAUUSD, and that 80% of accounts flagged for high-frequency, arbitrage or martingale-style trading sat on fully warehoused books. I expect the next purchase to be the bundle, gold price plus Apex plus Radar, because A-book flow was 1.8% of broker profit and loss on that network, so a routing upgrade on its own touches the smaller number. Match-Prime's depth is the near-term way to move more of the gold ticket outside the warehouse, and Book Switch Impact is the screen that prices the choice. The FinanceFeeds prizes stop at the products, and the warehousing decision stays with the desk.
