FlexTrade, the leading multi-asset execution and order management systems provider, announced that has appointed Manuela Bauer as Multi-Asset Sales Director of the EMEA sales team.
The expansion of FlexTrade’s EMEA sales team comes at the end of a successful year of cross-asset innovation for the business. This includes the launch of FlexAlgoWheel, a data-driven interface for Algo and Broker selection, and TradeGuide in FlexTRADER, offering pre-trade and in-flight feedback on orders. In April, the company presented its augmented reality trading technology, FlexAR, at TradeTech Europe.
Manuela Bauer joins FlexTrade from MTS, London Stock Exchange Group’s electronic fixed income trading markets, where she was responsible for buy-side sales in Germany and the Nordics. Prior to joining MTS, she held various positions within London Stock Exchange Group’s Capital Markets division in London and Milan.
In addition to a MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School, Bauer holds a Bsc in Economics from HEC Lausanne – School of Business and a Bsc in Business Management with First Class Honours from University of Surrey.

Based in London, Bauer will be responsible for further strengthening FlexTrade’s capability in multi-asset class sales, including growing FlexTrade’s newly launched Fixed Income EMS across continental Europe and working closely with the buy-side to support FlexTrade’s delivery of best in class cross-asset trading solutions.
“After an exceptionally strong 2017 and the launch of our fixed income platform, Manuela is the perfect addition to the cross-asset sales team going into 2018,” continued Mahoney.
FlexTrade has recently appointed Bruce Wolf as Head of FX Business Development, Vishal Pandya as Chief Operating Officer, Matthew York as Product Owner, Fixed Income, and Aaron Levine as Vice President of OEMS Solutions.
FlexTrade has consolidated and added new clients, such as Quantopian for its FlexOne OMS, Dalton Street Capital for Global Cross Asset Trading, and CMC Markets for wider dissemination of its proprietary CFD liquidity.
