Equiti Capital UK – the FCA licensed multi-asset class broker revealed the appointment of Mr. Arun Lakhani as Partner Solutions Manager in its latest announcement. Equiti Capital UK is a wholly owned subsidiary of global FX brokerage Equiti Group and was formerly known as Divisa Capital. It is well known in the market for Forex, CFD and metals trading and liquidity services provider. The firm facilitates B2B market participants with access to bespoke liquidity from interbank market which is made available via various trading platforms and API with particular focus on clients who hold margin trading accounts or credit line established by a prime broker. In his new role at the firm, Arun will be based in the firm’s Guildford office and report to Mr. Mitesh Vaghela – Director of Product.
The incoming executive holds nearly 13 years of experience as a technical support engineer specialising in incident management, MT4, Forex trading, FIX Messaging, Windows Servers, SQL and Customer Service. Before taking up his current role at Equiti Capital, he served as Business Development Executive in Gold-I Ltd. Arun had been with Gold-I for nearly five and a half years and also served in roles of Technical support engineer and senior support engineer. Prior to that, he did a brief stint as IT Technical Practitioner and Specialist – Applications at Surrey Police for two and a half years. He began his career as General Merchandise Assistant at Sainbury’s in May of 2007 and also served as Customer Service Assistant at the firm. He has also served as Junior Business Analyst at Metropolitan Police – Kennington.
