Karthik Subramanian has been a professional trader and fund manager over the last 18 years. He is basically a software developer who made the transition to financial domain around 18 years back as the attractiveness of the financial markets proved too much for him. Justin Dustzadeh Appointed as Chief Technology Officer of Equinix

EquinixCalifornia headquartered Nasdaq listed internet connectivity and data center service provide Equinix, Inc. recently revealed in a statement that the firm now has a new Chief Technology Officer. According to the update from the firm, the firm has secured Justin Dustzadeh a veteran in network infrastructure and technology operations to serve as its new Chief Technology Officer and his appointment at the firm is effective immediately. Justin is a veteran with 27 years of experience handling technology and network architecture for industry-leading firm from a wide range of sector such as telecommunication, financial services and transportation network operator. In his new role as Chief Technology Officer, Justin is expected to contribute to the company’s ongoing leadership in cloud ecosystem and is also responsible for developing a roadmap to support the company’s broader platform strategy.

Aside from these two responsibilities he is also in-charge of leading the firm’s next generation technology and innovation function. Before taking up his new role with California based tech giant, he served as Head of Global Network and Software Platform at Uber for more than two years and was in charge of the architecture design, engineering and 24*7 operations of Uber’s global network infrastructure (for self driving and standard cars). He was also responsible for handling the firm’s software based infrastructure automation capabilities which help ensure smooth and peak performance of the transport network’s IT infrastructure at all times. Prior to Uber, he served as VP and Head of Global Infrastructure Network Services at Visa and CTO/VP of Technology Strategy at Huawei. Some of the other notable firms in which he has served at during his long tenure include Ericsson, Divvio, AT&T Labs, SFR and Orange.
