Your Bourse explodes past $1 trillion trading volume in December

Trade execution technology provider, Your Bourse, reported a record monthly trading volume of $1.08 trillion for December 2023. This figure indicates a notable increase in client usage and trading activity on the vendor’s platform.

Throughout 2023, Your Bourse saw significant growth and achieved key milestones. The company offers services like a Matching Engine, Bridge Solutions, liquidity aggregation, and a FIX server for liquidity distribution, which contributed to this high trading volume.

The platform’s average daily trading volume (ADV) in December was around $35 billion, with the peak daily trading volume reaching $165 billion on December 29. The top five trading instruments for the month were XAUUSD (Gold), EURUSD, US30 (Dow Jones 30), NAS100 (NASDAQ 100), and GBPUSD.

Meanwhile, XAUUSD trades constituted 23 percent of the total volume, amounting to $250 billion, marking the highest activity for this instrument in 2023. EURUSD followed with 15% of the total volume, equivalent to $163 billion. The US30 index, or the DJ30 derivative contract, came in third with a 6% share ($65 billion) of the monthly volume.

Your Bourse’s flagship solution, Matching Engine, is designed to execute orders with ultra-low latency (two microseconds order processing time) and can handle 500,000 orders per second on a single CPU. This engine is versatile, accommodating various asset classes. In December, there was a 7% increase in the number of Matching Engine installations.

Your Bourse connects brokers to over 100 liquidity providers, aiming to enhance brokers’ performance.

Your Bourse provides software solutions for retail and institutional MT4/MT5 brokers. In 2022, the technology vendor opened a new office in Limassol, Cyprus. The island country is already a major global hub for the company’s client base, forex and brokerage companies, and thus is well-positioned as a business gateway to access Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This allows the London-based company to get closer and offer better services to their partners, customers and prospects across these regions.
