Ramp, a global on- and off-ramp provider bridging the gap between the crypto economy and traditional finance, has entered into a partnership with Worldcoin to offer global off-ramping capabilities for the WLD token via the World App.
The World App is the first Worldcoin wallet designed to bring digital identity and global finance to users worldwide.
As the exclusive global off-ramp provider for WLD, Ramp will play a crucial role in supporting Worldcoin’s mission to provide everyone with access to the global economy. World App users in applicable regions will be able to easily convert their WLD into fiat currency, initially through debit and credit cards, with more payout options to come in the future.
Worldcoin, launched in July, aims to create an inclusive digital economy by providing users with a secure and privacy-enhancing digital verification of their uniqueness and humanity through a World ID. World IDs are stored on users’ phones, and the World App has garnered 4.1 million users worldwide, with 2.4 million holding Orb-verified World IDs.
Ramp CEO Szymon Sypniewicz said they are now providing on and off-ramping services to millions of people and contributing to Worldcoin’s mission.

Ramp previously made headlines by becoming the first global crypto on-ramp provider to offer direct purchases of WLD to users where the token is available. With this partnership, Ramp now enables two-way conversions between WLD and fiat, further enhancing the accessibility of digital assets for individuals globally.
Tiago Sada, head of product at Tools for Humanity, a contributor to the Worldcoin Project, highlighted the alignment of Ramp’s global footprint and user-friendly experience with the inclusive design of World App.
