The first new feature, Real-Time Settlement, allows the Viva.com merchant community near-instant access to funds. Transactions are now settled in up to 60 minutes, compared to the previous next-day settlement scheme.
The second new feature, Offline Payments, ensures that Viva.com merchants minimize the chances of losing a sale resulting from network connectivity issues or disruptions. Offline Payments automatically allow card-present transaction acceptance, even if a merchant is unable to connect to a network at the point of sale.

The two new features will be initially activated for businesses that hold a viva.com | Account, optimising cash flow and expenses management.
