The Financial Commission has announced the appointment of Aytugan Khafizov, Founder and CEO of FastMT, to its Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC).
The leading external dispute resolution (EDR) forum catering to the financial services industry is thus welcoming its 37th DRC member since its inception in 2013.
Formed by a diverse panel of industry professionals who follow a non-biased protocol to process and resolve complaints from our members’ clients, the DRC is a critical component of The Financial Commission’s goal of offering the brokerage industry a swifter alternative to the conflict resolution process between traders and brokers. Otherwise, they would have to go through typical regulatory channels such as arbitration or local court systems, which are slower, less effective, and expensive.
The Financial Commission initially set out to provide a new approach for traders and brokers alike to resolve any issues that arise in the course of trading electronic markets such as Foreign Exchange, and then expanded into CFDs and related derivatives, in addition to certifying technology platforms used for trading.
Aytugan Khafizov was a key player in Alpari and MetaQuotes
Aytugan Khafizov, founder and CEO of trading systems provider FastMT, is a seasoned technology expert with over two decades of experience within the industry, having begun his career in 1999 as an IT Manager for Alpari. He then climbed his way up to the role of Global CTO and helped establish Alpari’s brokerage operations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Cyprus.
Khafizov also served as the Chief Information Officer at MetaQuotes, the developer of the popular trading platforms MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. His extensive experience in both retail and institutional trading, as well as in technology and building effective technology teams, will be invaluable for The Financial Commission and its efforts to bring harmony within the brokerage space.
