Revolut launches Robo-Advisor service in Europe

“We know that many of our customers do not have the time to manage a portfolio or invest in individual securities. In fact, 53% of customers we surveyed last year said they simply don’t know where to start when it comes to investing.”

Revolut, a prominent global financial super-app with over 35 million customers, has unveiled its Robo-Advisor service in Europe, marking a significant advancement in automated investment solutions.

The Robo-Advisor by Revolut simplifies investing by offering a customized portfolio based on the customer’s risk tolerance and financial objectives, identified through a series of questions.

Robo-Advisor service charges annual fee of 0.75%

With a minimum investment of EUR 100, customers can start using the Robo-Advisor, which then automatically invests in the market and continuously oversees and adjusts the portfolio. The service charges an annual fee of 0.75% of the portfolio’s value, billed monthly.

To maximize the benefits of this technology, customers can set up recurring transfers starting from EUR 10 to their Robo-Advisor portfolio. This feature encourages regular investment and helps mitigate the effects of short-term market fluctuations. The Robo-Advisor also performs automatic rebalancing and periodic reviews to ensure portfolios remain aligned with the customers’ investment goals and risk tolerance.

Revolut is also expanding its investment offerings in the European Economic Area, including shares of European listed companies and the introduction of Trading Pro, a subscription service for advanced traders. The app gives access to a wide range of securities, including over 2,200 US-listed securities, more than 220 EU-listed securities, and 270 ETFs.

53% of customers don’t know where to start

Rolandas Juteika, Head of Wealth and Trading (EEA) at Revolut, said: “We are excited to add a Robo-Advisor to our suite of wealth and trading products. We know that many of our customers do not have the time to manage a portfolio or invest in individual securities. In fact, 53% of customers we surveyed last year said they simply don’t know where to start when it comes to investing. Built to make investing more accessible, we want to give our customers the ability to make their money work for them in what we believe will be a tailored and stress-free solution.

Investment services in the EEA are provided by Revolut Securities Europe UAB, authorized and regulated by the Bank of Lithuania. Potential investors are reminded that all investments carry risks, including the possibility of losing capital and fluctuations in value due to market changes. Additional fees and charges may apply to specific services and instruments.
