IG lends its name to 17,000-seat arena in Nagoya, Japan 

IG Arena will host the 2026 Asian Games and Asian Para Games, spotlighting its pivotal role in both local and regional culture. 

IG Group, a global frontrunner in online trading and investments, alongside Aichi International Arena Company, Ltd., and AEG, have unveiled a 10-year naming rights partnership for a new 17,000-seat arena currently under construction in Nagoya, Japan. 

This multi-year agreement stands as one of the most significant naming rights deals in both Japan and the Asia Pacific region. 

IG Arena to open in 2025

Slated to open its doors in 2025, the IG Arena is poised to become a leading entertainment hub in Japan, accommodating a diverse array of events including sports, music, and family gatherings.

The venue will also host the 2026 Asian Games and Asian Para Games, spotlighting its pivotal role in both local and regional culture. The agreement, facilitated by AEG Global Partnerships, aligns IG Group’s brand with major sports and live entertainment events in Japan

The IG Arena, a five-story structure, will feature a ‘hybrid oval’ bowl design, allowing for a versatile range of sports and music events. 

The Aichi International Arena Company, Ltd. was established in 2021 by a consortium including major entities like Maeda Corporation, NTT Docomo, and AEG, with the arena’s design led by Kengo Kuma & Associates.
