EBC Financial sponsors FC Barcelona as FX partner until 2027

Spanish La Liga club FC Barcelona has announced a 3.5-year sponsorship deal with EBC Financial Group, a UK and Australia dual-licensed broker.

The agreement names EBC the club’s official foreign exchange partner across multiple global regions including Asia-Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa

This collaboration grants EBC Financial Group exclusive rights to conduct FX transactions, trading, and advisory services under the FC Barcelona brand. The partnership is said to leverage FC Barcelona’s global fan base to extend EBC’s financial services and products across key international markets.

EBC Financial Group is a regulated brokerage house based in London, providing online trading, asset management, and investment consulting. With a network of offices in major financial hubs worldwide, EBC serves a broad spectrum of retail, professional, and institutional clients, offering a suite of customized financial brokerage and trading solutions.

EBC Financial Group has joined the Financial Commission as an Approved Broker Member back in August  2023.

Meanwhile, FC Barcelona sees this partnership as a key piece of their global expansion plan as the club seeks to land the best partnerships to stay ahead of the game in marketing and sponsorships.

A ceremonial event to celebrate the partnership, featuring FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta, is scheduled to take place at the Spotify Camp Nou at a future date.

“Even though EBC is only four years old, we’ve only grown because we demand the best from ourselves and the industry. We’ve delved deep into FC Barcelona’s storied history, learning from their culture of mentorship where the experienced guide the new, and the new inspire the younger, creating a continuum of growth and excellence,” stated Samuel Hertz, APAC Director of Operations at EBC Financial Group.

Juli Guiu, Marketing Area Vice President at FC Barcelona, added: “This partnership coincides with FC Barcelona’s global expansion plan in recent years, I’m sure that this will help the Club open up a wealth of opportunities in the financial sector through these 3.5 years of partnership with the well-renowned EBC Financial Group. With the untapped potentials we see in the Asia Pacific region, as well as the growing economies in South & Central America, Mexico, Africa, and Middle East, we’re excited to build more connections with brands, partners, supporters, and Culers in these regions.”
