Bitget has announced introduced the Bitget Card, a premium Visa Platinum card aimed at enhancing the financial experience for its staff and promoting cryptocurrency adoption.
Available initially for internal staff from Jan 8th, Bitget will eventually expand the card to all qualifying users in the first half of the year.
Successful applicants undergo a standardized KYC process, receiving a virtual card compatible with wallets like Google Pay and Apple Pay. Physical cards, arriving within weeks, are also provided.
Metal physical card for VIP customers
In collaboration with Reap, Bitget Card necessitates users to maintain a sufficient balance in their Bitget funding account in USDT for USD payments, with future plans to support other stablecoins.
The card incurs no annual or application fees, is denominated in USD, and is accepted globally where Visa is welcomed, with minimal FX fees for local spending, according to the company.
Offering a generous monthly spending limit for high-value transactions, VIP customers receive a distinguished metal physical card. Supporting online and offline transactions, Bitget Card seamlessly integrates with Google Pay and Apple Pay. Users can withdraw cash from Visa-affiliated ATMs, with additional benefits like BGB rebates and exclusive privileges coming soon.
