Barchart announces executive reshuffle – FinanceFeeds

Barchart has announced significant changes to its executive team, with Mike Ehrenberg being appointed as Chief Technology Officer, Chris Harrison as Chief Product Officer, Colleen Sheeren as Chief Marketing Officer, and Andrew Ward as Head of Commodity Sales.

Mike Ehrenberg, who joined Barchart in 2011 and previously served as Head of Engineering, will now oversee the development of next-generation data and software solutions in his role as CTO. Ehrenberg began his career at Barchart in 2011 as a Software Engineer. Before his promotion, he served as Head of Engineering, focusing on streaming market data applications, core infrastructure, and many backend components. Ehrenberg’s career includes independent development and publication of software for financial markets prior to joining Barchart​​.

Chris Harrison, transitioning from CTO to Chief Product Officer, will focus on product management, including the enhancement of Barchart’s cmdtyView platform and charting solutions. Before becoming Chief Product Officer at Barchart, Harrison held significant roles as Chief Product Officer and SVP of Engineering for various companies, including GlobalView, Drillinginfo, and FutureSource. His responsibilities encompassed Barchart’s comprehensive product offering, covering data feeds, digital solutions, APIs, and software​​.

Colleen Sheeren, promoted from Head of Marketing to CMO, will lead strategic marketing initiatives to boost Barchart’s brand recognition and market presence. Sheeren has been with Barchart since 2015, starting as a Marketing Associate before moving up to Head of Marketing. Her new role involves overseeing Barchart’s strategic marketing efforts, advertising, and event planning.

Andrew Ward, as the new Head of Commodity Sales, will aim to expand sales for Barchart’s commodity workflow and data solutions, leveraging his extensive experience in commodity risk management and technology from previous roles at Macquarie Group, JP Morgan, and Refinitiv.
