Redline Trading Solutions, a US based market data and execution systems provider recently announced that it has appointed a new global head for its FX business division. As per statement released by the firm earlier this week, it has hired Mr. Andrij Wowkodaw to serve as the head of its global forex business divisions effective immediately and will be based out of the firm’s office located in New York. Mr. Wowkodaw is a veteran with nearly 15 years of experience in portfolio management, FX algorithmic proprietary trading and Quantitative Analysis in forex having served with several industry leading financial service providers. Before taking up his new role at Redline Trading Solutions, he served as a Director of e-FX Quantitative Analysis at Scotia bank in Canada and held the role for six years.
During his term with the bank he was responsible for development and implementation of a major algorithm which handles various tasks such as price creation (spot & swaps) and risk management in hedging. Prior to Scotia Bank, he held the role of portfolio manager at several investment and asset management service providers such as AXE Capital Management, Eagle Capital Partners and First New York Securities. During the early phase of his career, he served as an FX algorithmic proprietary trader and Bear Stearns and as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Millennium Partners. Commenting on his new role at the firm, Mr. Wowkodaw said, “it is an exciting time to join Redline.
