In her new role as head of community, Alix Park has been tasked with the development and implementation of a new management strategy to support and educate Cardano community members across the globe. As per the statement, Park’s immediate priority is to strengthen the next phase of Cardano Ambassador Program.
Prior to joining Cardano Foundation, Alix served as Chief Executive Officer of MarketingCrew Company, a marketing firm that helps start-ups with their initial marketing activities on a global scale. Alix founded the firm back in March 2016 and has since held the role of its Chief Executive Officer. Alongside her role of CEO of MarketingCrew Company, Alix also served as Chief Marketing Officer of Coinone Inc., – one of Korea’s top 3 cryptocurrency exchange for a period of nearly five months from October 2018 to February 2019.
Alix was the first CMO at Coinone, and during her tenure at the firm, Alix and her team’s efforts greatly helped improve the brand image of Coinone across the globe. She also served in the role of Director of Global Strategy and Marketing for IGA Works and as Director of EF Education First before starting up her own marketing firm in 2016.
Alix’s role as Marketing Director of Ernst & Young is yet another notable designation from her career. She has also served in marketing divisions of Samsung Electronics, Motorola and Korean Air during her long career. Speaking about her new role at the firm, Nathan Kaiser, Chairman of Cardano Foundation commented, “With Alix’s appointment, we are further strengthening our community management function as the Cardano Foundation accelerates global community growth strategy.
Her experience in emerging markets and with developers will be valuable and very timely as Cardano is preparing to invite Dapp developers and corporate partners to expand ada’s user base in developing nations. Alix’s leadership and marketing management experience and background in storytelling will cement the Foundation’s goal to better serve the community”.
