TP ICAP Onboards Tracy Clarke as Non-Executive Director

TP ICAP plc, a leading player in global interdealer broker business revealed the appointment of new non-executive director in its latest announcement. As per statement released by the firm, it has onboarded Mrs. Tracy Clarke to serve as its new non-executive director, however, this change will only come into effect from 1st January 20201. Alongside her role as Non-Exec Director, she also joins the firm’s remuneration, nomination & governance committees. It should also be noted that she will take over the above mentioned committee as its Chairman after the firm’s annual general meeting which is currently scheduled for May of next year during which she will become official successor of Mrs. Angela Knight who is expected to step down from the firm’s board.

Tracy is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank having held the role for nearly two and a half years now. She had been with Standard Chartered for nearly 5 years during which she has also held the role of regional CEO of Americas & Europe and Director of compliance and people. Alongside her current role at Standard Chartered, she is also serving as member of board of directors at The City UK having held the role since 2017 as per information in her LinkedIn account. She is a veteran with more than three decades of experience in financial services sector and some of her other notable roles include – Non-Executive Director at England Netball, Inmarsat, Sky & Eaga Plc.

Earlier in her career, she spent another brief term in Standard Chartered Bank during which she held the roles of Group Head People & Communications and Group Head Human Resources. Speaking about Tracy’s addition to the team, Richard Berliand – Chairman of TP ICAP Plc said “We are very pleased to welcome Tracy to the Board of the Company. She brings broad based and substantial experience from a career spanning over 30 years at Standard Chartered Bank, combined with significant experience from her directorship roles.
