Alison will be reporting locally to Mrs. Teresa Parker – President of EMEA at Northern Trust and to Mr. Tom South – Chief Information Officer at Northern Trust Corporation. The incoming executive is a veteran in banking industry having spent nearly sixteen years serving in multiple senior level leadership and management roles at two of world’s leading multinational banking service providers. According to Alison’s LinkedIn account, alongside her role as CTO for EMEA region, she is also expected to serve in role of SMF24 currently pending regulatory approval. She spent majority of her career serving in Goldman Sachs having remained at the firm for eleven and a half years and served as head of various units in EMEA region such as Technology Client Services, Technology Infrastructure for Investment Banking, Multimedia operations, Application development HCM, Corporate Services, Real Estate and Program Management Officer for select regulatory reporting projects.
Post her term with Goldman Sachs, she joined Deutsche Bank and served in the firm until taking up her current role at Northern Trust. Her notable roles under the German banking giant are Global head of Storage and Backup unit, Global Head of Unified Communications and Automation, Interim CIO of End User Compute & Global Head of Workplace Communications. Given her extensive experience in numerous senior level leadership roles for wide range of units, she is an expert in vendor management, contract negotiations and is a strong people manager with good communication and interpersonal s kills.
